Well, so Kids supporting kids is ON! This is about involving kids on a collaboration network. It is not only asking them "to give something for poor people", it is about letting them know who, where and why. We should do something with a purpose, and as a collaborative action  this is a reciprocal donation. It's been over six years now that I started with the international cooperation for human development experience. And, what is it all about?. Well, for me, it means human beings supporting other human beings. Human development should not mean anything else. Setting that idea as a basis, everything is possible, because you are supporting yourself.  Different experiences, with such interesting  people have helped me to shape what I call "my dream", contributing with my knowledge to human development. The Societal Impacts Committee of the GSDI Association will provide a free training opportunity for up to three candidates from Latin America to attend the ICLPST (International Center for Land Policy Studies and Training) training Seminar on Geographical Information Systems and Land Management in Taipei. The training seminar will begin on September 12, 2012 and conclude on September 25, 2012.  Chinese Taipei is the sponsor of the training program that entrusts ICLPST to carry out the project. Olvida la añoranza de tu tierra por momentos y vive, piensa y comunícate sólo en inglés (radio, televisión, ocio en general). - Está claro que no es suficiente. Eres un profesional, dedicaste horas y años de tu vida a obtener tu título (bachiller, diplomatura, licenciatura, incluso master). En un mundo lleno de profesionales excelentes, en el que en ocasiones no se reconoce el mérito sino el oportunismo. Esta columna del presidente y CEO de IEEE  Gordon W. Day , que aparece en la publicación The Institute del mes de Junio (y que traduzco algunos fragmentos debajo), es bastante motivador. Y concluyo del mismo que "la unión hace la fuerza", y que es mejor reciclarse, innovarse personal y profesionalmente para no quedar relegado en el olvido. For this adeventourus matter, I am using SQLDeveloper environment to program PL/SQL. This software is quite easy to use. There are current versions at the  Oracle site, depending on your OS you may download the Linux version, the Mac or even the MS version with installer. I personally use an old version, in my MS 7 64bit, but installing SQL developer for 32bits with JDK1.6.xx included. There may be sometimes an error stating MSVCR71.dll is missing. To fix this up: - unzip the SQLdeveloper zip folder - Go to ..\jdk\jre\bin copy MSVCR71.dll file - Go to ..\sqldeveloper\bin and paste the dll file - Run  .\sqldeveloper.exe This should work and now you can open a connection to start creating your PL/SQL programms.
