Jipijapa, la odisea...

Intenso... 16/julio/2012 Despues de un asalto en Baltimore la noche previa al viaje, embarcamos rumbo a Washington, con tráfico incluido, pensé que no llegaba!! Y tanto que llegué, pues Washington-NY estaba cancelado! Reubicamos en el mismo vuelo pero al dia siguiente. Regresa a casa desde Washington. Llega al aeropuerto, y sorpresa, vuelven a cancelar el vuelo!!. Será una señal? me pregunto. Me reubican en vuelo DCA-Miami.  Está claro que por NY no es posible... 17/julio/2012 Consigo embarcar a Miami. Con un nudito en la garganta, siguen sin gustarme las despedidas...Llego a Miami, la azafata nos dice: Welcome to Miami, Bienvenidos a Miami. Primera sorpresa, vuelo retrasado aproximadamente 2 horas!. Es una señal, los astros están intentando decirme algo, pero el qué? Y como si nada, a nadie la importa, nadie dice nada. GIS training opportunity for Latin American applicants

The Societal Impacts Committee of the GSDI Association will provide a free training opportunity for up to three candidates from Latin America to attend the ICLPST (International Center for Land Policy Studies and Training) training Seminar on Geographical Information Systems and Land Management in Taipei. The training seminar will begin on September 12, 2012 and conclude on September 25, 2012.  Chinese Taipei is the sponsor of the training program that entrusts ICLPST to carry out the project. Each candidate must satisfy the following guidelines: (a) Candidates must be an individual member of the International Geospatial Society (IGS) or must be affiliated with an organization that is a member of the GSDI Association. (b) Candidates must be proficient in both spoken and written English in order to be able to follow lectures and instructions conducted in English. Nominees with basic computer skills will be considered more suitable for this course. (c) Candidates must be persons who are
