Día de Internet

Leí que en 2012 Internet se acabaría, por motivos bastante razonables. Mientras tanto se dan eventos como el Día de Interent, esperemos que no sea la despedida... Este año además es el día de las telecomunicaciones y la sociedad de la inforamción.
Extremadura, como gran potenciadora del software libre, dentro de su Plan de Alfabetización Tecnológica y Software Libre, está preparando actividades con motivo del Día de Internet: talleres, charlas...
Un forma interesante de promover el trabajo colaborativo.

Por cierto, se celebra el 17 de mayo.

Software Libre año 2020

¿Seguirá siendo filosofía? ¿Será su uso generalizado?¿Quién o qué debe potenciar esa generalización?¿Qué papel tienen las empresas?¿Y los usuarios? Creo que para entonces el software libre no será sólo una filosofía. Ya se trabaja por ello, pero lento. "Business is business " La propagación del software libre se verá frenado si las corporaciones no lo ven como un engocio. Existen intereses, económicos para ser exactos. No nos vamos a engañar, sin dinero y beneficios, no hay negocio. Pero la unión hace la fuerza y creo que existe ya indignación por aquello de que el software no funciona y no hay forma de arreglarlo sin previo pago de licencia, para adquirir la actualización "mejorada". Además grandes corporaciones empiezan a ver en el software libre una fuente de ingresos. Se ven oportunidades de negocio, mercados potenciales como Latinoamérica, miles de usuarios potenciales, y donde hay negocio, hay dinero y ...Miren si no el caso de Brasil que después de la normati...
